Hi! My name is Jeffrey... but just call me "J" like everyone else does. I'm the good side of my personality... you know, the one who believes that love and commitment should encompass our gay sexual relationships.
"Daem11on" is the dark side of
my character. He represents the lower urges of sexual lust,
usury, and promiscuity that many of us in the world of gaydom
have experienced... either as the victims or the victimizers (or
both) of these less-than-honorable forces. To one degree or another, we
all have a "Daem11on". I do a pretty good job keeping Daem11on's
escapades restricted to the theater of my mind. Please do not assume
everything you read in these journals was actually carried out in the flesh.
Nevertheless, it is real and therefore presented by me in a non-fictional
manner.
"Daem11on's Journals" are merely recorded accounts of the spiritual/sexual battle between light and darkness... and most specifically between "J" and "Daem11on" that wage inside so many of us. Daem11on reigns supreme in some of the journals... J maintains his higher standards in others.
As I allow myself to be transparent within these journals, I am hoping to encourage, inspire, and befriend you as one who can relate to the varying degrees of light and darkness... struggles and triumphs... pain and joy... sexual love and lust... common to us all.
I'm 48 years old, living in a suburb of Buffalo, New York.
As far as my gay pursuits are concerned, I have no problem with maintaining non-exclusive sexual relationships with my "bond-friends"... but I do not believe in the sex-only, fuck-buddy, one-night-stand routine. I try to only have sex within bond-friendships where some kind of meaningful commitment is present to "be there" for each other in all areas of our lives... not just sexually.
Evolving into gay relationships with guys has happened to me many times over the years... you can read all about my experiences in the journals if you want to.
